Mesothelioma is an acronym of mesothelium (includes flat or plastic) and oma (latin name for growth or tumor).
Mesothelioma is a tumor cell that covers the flat surface of the lungs, the wind pipe adjacent and chest cavity.This is the suffering that involve multi-disciplinary approaches and institutions as well as doctors, medicine and preventive work, work safety, occupational therapists and trade unions. Although sometimes reffered to as "asbestos lung cancer, mesothelioma is not the same as lung cancer. Lung cancer occurs in the lungs themselves while mesothelioma occurs in the lining of the lungs."
